Hey there!
I hope you're having a great week.
Today, I don't have any niche-specific topics to talk about. (Well, I currently have about 10 drafts which I have yet to complete and edit. Some of them are good topics so I should handle them with care and edit them well.)
For now, let's take a moment to look at how far we've come, the accomplishments, and the things we achieved.
A quick overview of the accomplishments:
This is my 7th month on Substack.
I've been writing and posting articles once every week on Friday without breaking the streak.
We are moving forward to reach the 100 Subscribers milestone.
This is the 32nd article in my publication.
I made and published my first super-short manga (Japanese-style comic) called Shiryo. (You can read it here if you haven’t yet: Shiryo: A short manga.)
I'm working on my second comic which will be better and longer than the first one.
I made some wonderful friends and made new acquaintances.
Look how wonderful that is. This list of accomplishments gives me the motivation to keep going and will surely be a good reminder to my future self.
But, this is just the beginning! We have a lot more things to do and accomplish!
At first, I set the goal of posting every week for 6 months. Once I achieved that goal, I raised the bar and set 12 months as my goal.
I'm almost there and I don't want to break the streak by not posting today.
I came to Substack so that I have a place where I can share my creations- mostly the drawings and comics that I make. How our mind works, philosophy, and practical psychology are also my favorite topics. It's great that I can write down the new things I learned and share them with others through this platform.
I also met wonderful friends through this platform and it makes me happy to see them read my work, like, or share.
I'm not drawn to looking at the numbers. Rather, it's the notifications that make my day, I suppose. These features are the indication that people enjoy my reading Articles.
I'm the only kid in my house, with no siblings, and there are barely any friends around this desolate neighborhood. I have a few friends and many cousins who I talk or play with, but they are all far away. So, It can get pretty lonely at times.
Thank goodness, the internet exists. Or it will be even more lonely, haha.
Like many others on Substack, building a good readership is also one of my goals. More than that, I enjoy talking to people on Notes, comments, or through the direct message feature on Substack.
Every week on Monday, I post an accountability thread where we share our goals for the week and celebrate our accomplishments. Well, not many people use it nowadays, but it's fine.
One day, I hope it will be a lively place blooming with people chatting together and cheering for each other.
I'm interested in building a community no matter how small. If you'd like to offer your support, you are welcome to chat in the Subscriber threads.
Here's a convenient button for you ✨:
If you find don’t have much free time, there is another way to support:
You can also share my free newsletter with your friends who are interested in art or self-improvement.
If you want to talk, feel free to start a conversation in the comments by sharing a few things about yourself and your newsletter. How is your writing journey going so far? How often do you post? Do you feel disheartened when not many people discover your work? If so, what is your favorite article that you wrote?
It's always a good feeling to know that there are people out there who support your work and are looking forward to your next release.
I have an Instagram account where I don't post much. So, this is the only place where you can know about my newest releases the fastest.
I have some good stuff in store and I am working on some exciting projects to share here one day. I hope you can stick with me or come back when that time comes.
Special thanks to my Substack buddies for joining me on this Journey! (Even if you were here for a brief moment).

Feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. See you next week!
Thank you for reading! Come again next week on Friday for a ✨new post✨
